ACMI FACT Symposium

ACMI FACT (Future of Arts, Culture & Technology) Symposium is an annual two-day event that explores the future of arts, culture, and technology in Australia – and the mindsets, capabilities and skills we need to get there.

Presented with Creative Australia and proudly supported by Creative Victoria and Bloomberg, 2024’s program was aimed at cultural leaders, policy makers, practitioners and those wanting to understand how we make the most of the possible future trajectories of technology in the arts.  Working with themes of AI/automation, climate, and changing audiences – and how the cultural sector will change over the next ten years as a result.

Think in Colour were delighted to be there to capture the steady flow of ideas and a-ha’s over the two days, and equally delighted to see how ACMI creatively used the time-lapse MP4 outputs as part of their post-event comms, editing them together with the audio from the sessions to create an additional way for the community to engage with the outputs.
