We loved working with the team to define and clarify the message and work out how to present it in a way that is simple, impactful, and easy to understand.

“The stigma reduction resources posters you designed have been a huge hit with everybody, and are currently being used to train clinical staff at various locations such as hospitals and not-for-profit services around Victoria. They have been used as a part of face-to-face training, appearing on the intranet for staff, and promoting the importance of language amongst staff!

We’ve also done a bunch of presentations featuring the posters, including winning TWO awards for two posters we created describing the project and featuring the poster. So thanks again!!” – Tina Lam, Monash Addiction Research Centre

In 2019, Think in Colour collaborated with the Commission for Children and Young People to create an illustrated version of the report, bringing the young people’s words to life and presenting their ideas and aspirations back to them in a medium that’s engaging and easily digestible.

The findings were also tabled in the Victorian Parliament on Wednesday 27 November 2019.

In 2019, Think in Colour collaborated with City of Melbourne as part of their Smart Cities project to create a series of illustrated prioritisation cards to be used as a tool in a series of workshops with community members to brainstorm and prioritise the types of activities they would like to see happening in the city.

The most popular elements were then combined into a series of more detailed, thematic illustrations (e.g. night time activation, food, physical activity) and used to communicate the aspirations of the community.

Between 2019 – 2021, Think in Colour collaborated with Moreland City Council to create a series of illustrated ‘strategies on a page’ in order to better communicate their strategies for Human Rights, Health and Wellbeing, Food, and Children and Young People.

Illustrating plans in this way brings them to life, centres the humans at the heart of the strategy, and makes them easier to understand and share for council staff and community members alike.
